Wickedly simple and fabulously fresh.
Seriously this is so incredibly simple, I'm not even sure what instructions to write. Took me 15 minutes to make, scouts honour! This is one of those things where homemade really is better. I'm not saying I'd make my own peanut butter or ketchup but homemade pesto definitely tastes superior to shop-bought.
Put all your ingredients into a food blender, except from the salt.
Whizz for a good 3-4 minutes until everything is deliciously smooth. Have a cheeky taste and add salt if needed.
Pause to scoop down the sides and make sure all the mix is thoroughly blended.
Safety first, be careful with the blade it's super sharp!
There you go, how simple was that!
I will be using this pesto in a recipe early next week so keep your eyes peeled.
***Also let me know if you have a go at making your own pesto, or any of my recipes for that matter. I've had a couple people this week say they made some of my recipes and I'm BEYOND flattered! Would love to see more.
