Happy New Year!
How is it 2015 already?! To all those who have embarked upon healthy, carb-less, get-fit-or-die-trying new year's resolutions, please look away now.
I've never been one for new year's resolutions, can't stick to things. Except from this blog. I've been prattling on for almost 7 months now! So I thought about doing a "new year, new me" healthy post, but to be honest with you I'd much rather eat what I want...especially if it's cake or sushi or both.
After having a slight quarter-life crisis about being the grand old age of 22, I thought I'd throw a fun American Breakfast/Brunch birthday bash. Basically a fancy fry up.
I'm afraid besides making the pancakes and dipping some strawberries in chocolate there wasn't much 'cooking' so I don't really have a recipe. Here's what we had anyway:
At home I have an aga so we made the pancakes on the simmering plate. They took 30 seconds on each side.
I then chopped up all the fruit which I served with double cream and maple syrup, naturally.
36 sausages later...
Spoilt rotten by my best buds (missing a few vital members) and eating all the food imaginable. Perfect way to start the new year.
